With plants from around the globe scattered throughout this 25 acre garden, there’s something to inspire around every corner. Champion Magnolias and vibrant Rhododendrons make way for lush banana plants and soaring Echiums.

Unusually, the restored walled kitchen garden was built to the dimensions of Noah’s Ark and showcases contemporary varieties of fruit and vegetables.  A colourfully bordered stream leads up to a shady pond and sunny terrace, with stunning views across Mounts Bay.

Enjoy some retail therapy in the National Trust shop and indulge in mouth-watering cakes and light meals in the tea room, with ingredients sourced from the kitchen garden.

Dogs on leads welcome everywhere except the tea room and its garden.
